From the bookshelf, choose from 12 games: Battling Ships, Checkers, Chinese Checkers, Snakes & Ladders, Crazy Eights, Go Fish, Memory Match, Old Maid, War, Hangman, Placer Racer and Speedy Racer. There are also additional interactive surprises in the bedroom for children to explore. Within the games, choose from a variety playing environments, ranging from the traditional to the unconventional. For instance, you can play checkers on a regular board, or with frogs on a lily pad board. Play with friends and family, or with any of eight lively animated characters, including a Dalmatian puppy and a wise-cracking alien. Adjustable skill levels make the games enjoyable for kids of all ages. An outstanding feature of Hoyle Kids' Games is the Hoyle Genie who appears to help with game rules and tips, explaining everything you need to know about the games in a friendly voice using clear, simple language. Like the other Hoyle games, Hoyle Kids' Games features Facemaker(tm), which allows kids to create personalized characters by selecting their hairstyle, outfit and facial features.
