The purpose of this CD is to guide students through a 10 day set of activities in which the goal is to follow the growth of actual bean seeds that come with the program. With the help of an off-beat but entertaining narrator, kids grow their beans in a petri dish. They track their beans' growth through measurement and description and look for signs of germination and photosynthesis. Their reports are saved. There is also a glossary of 114 terms, video descriptions of concepts and occasional multiple choice questions.
